Tell me about wracking nerves! For some, talking in small groups and presenting are one and the same thing. I had them in different camps in my head.

Having taken the plunge and presented at last week's London VMUG, I can honestly say that it's not easy but at the same time so satisfying to do. I *will* be back for seconds / thirds etc.

I'd like to add my encouragement to people to join these users groups and, more importantly, contribute to them.

Interestingly, the VMUG committee were in attendance at CloudCamp last week. It's possible that they might take some ideas away from it for future VMUGs. That aside, CloudCamp is certainly worth attending. I look forward to seeing you at the next one.

and now with the newest 6.5 thats been replaced with UserVars.CIMoem-dell-openmanage-esxiProviderEnabled which is enabled by default, so just install the VIB and install the OM web client (has to be same version)

I fixed the issue.. just a heads up for anyone else that has a problem:

changed bootproto to static instead of dhcp.

1	vmaccepteula
2	rootpw password
3	autopart --firstdisk --overwritevmfs
4	install usb
5	network --bootproto=static --device=vmnic0

Interesting. Unfortunately we had to enable it in a rush without being able to fully test it so never covered this off as thoroughly as I would have liked.

I keep getting an error, when the install is about to go through..

"error encountered before the user interface was initialized- this system does not have a network interface card that is plugged in, or all network interface cards are already claimed. Installation cannot continue as requested"

I am installing on a Cisco c260 M2, and have a netwok cable connected M1 port going to a 3750 Switch.

Any ideas?? I dont want it to go through DHCP since I'll have to set a static IP..

Thanks in advance

Could you please explaine why all 6 check boxes need to be selected in Network security: Configure encryption types allowed for Kerberos . We done several tests and we know DES does not work if you do not select all tick boxes. I need to know why this is happened.
Thanks
