Expand it using the Edit Settings for that VM and then console in and unzip this tool on the disk.
Command prompt and then execute it.
It will ask by how much you want to exted it, enter the difference and voila you have expanded the disk.</description>

		<description>Indeed, always good to be extra cautious. I thought though that if you tried to extend a vmdk in Edit Settings and there was a snapshot it would not let you do it?</description>

		<description>When using the second method of using alternate vm&#039;s to extend in Win2003 be VERY carefull and make SURE that you do NOT have ANY snapshots on the VM you want to grow.
